| History and background Mothercare
is a widely recognized brand name around the world, being a market leader in retailing to
expectant and new parents. Mothercare sells everything that a new parent could need, from
car seats and pushchairs to feeding accessories and toys.
Established in 1961, our stores and mail order
operations in the UK have served customers from over 130 countries around the world.
Since 1984 Mothercare has also operated outside the UK,
working with international franchise partners. These stores recreate the concept of our UK
stores, offering the same products, store design and the same high level of customer
service. Today over 170 Mothercare stores can be found in more than 30 countries around
the world. |
