If you want to try an herbal infusion for medicinal purposes, check with your doctor to ensure the herbs are appropriate for your medical situation. In addition to being a wonderful hot beverage, fruit and herbal infusions taste great when served over ice. While preparation of tisanes vary by type and taste preference, typical brewing guidelines include using 1 tablespoon per 12 to 16 oz pot.
